Our favorite charity is From the Heart, a wonderful local organization which provides knitted objects for many good causes. Click here to find out more about this group. If you have a desire to help, there are many items you can knit or crochet that will be useful and appreciated. Currently, the homeless need warm hats for the winter, and wool and wool blends are fine for these hats.
In addition, chemo caps for adults are always in demand (suggested yarns are LionBrand Cotton Ease and Microspun - no wool, please).
